Same thing with some iMacs I've tested it on down at the local Apple Store. Most people indicate it works find, but then a few complain of severe lag. I'm still working on tracking down whatever the issue is for those few. The screensaver does use OpenGL indirectly, through the Core Image framework... All the drawing is done into an NSOpenGLView. Getting actual textures for the textures would enhance performance more... One thing at a time though. :-) @Josh Crane
