Welcome to the blog of the grave genius, the inexplicable intellectual, and the peculiar philosopher.

I am a husband, soon-to-be father, an engineer, and many other things as well. Exactly where I live is to be left a mystery, however, the astute reader should have only minor difficulty discovering my location. Obtaining my contact information is also left as an exercise to the reader, hence the reason for not finding my e-mail address or other contact information readily available. Individuals who are able are welcome to get in touch, and I likely do not wish to be disturbed by those who are not.

I was home-schooled from kindergarten clear through the twelfth grade, and never visited a single institution of public education until college. It was an experience I wouldn’t trade the world for – each day that goes by, I am more thankful for my parent’s sacrifice. Today I work full-time as a network administrator for an excellent engineering firm, and run my own business on the side repairing computers. When time and money allows, I take college courses part time as well, and have accrued over 64 college credits.

I’m a Technophile, and have been for as long as I can remember. I had a blog before they were called blogs. Back then, is was a perl script that served for an online journal. I did lots of other cool things as well, but that was when I had the time. Alas.

There is one thing in my which is more important than any other, and that is my relationship with Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, without whom I would be nothing, but with whom I am everything. I am a Christian first and last, and wherever I am called, I will go, and whatever I am told, I will do.

Those who know me well know I like to call myself rich and famous. I am rich, because I have the greatest treasure known to mankind in my possession – The Word of God: The Bible. Being a Christian, this also makes me rather famous; my name, you see, is written in a book where it will be seen for all eternity – The Book of Life. I should not mind being wealthy in the earthly sense some day, but I find the thought of worldly renown most disagreeable.

You will find my interests cover a very broad expanse of topics. They include, but are by no means limited to, the following: Christianity, Classical Music, Piano, Keyboard, Reading, History, Reenacting, Fencing, Juggling, Bowling, Programming, Skiing, Graphic Design, Linux, Art, Drawing, Photography, Singing, Dancing, Hiking, Acting, Reading, Writing, Cycling, Philosophy, Cooking, Woodworking, Calligraphy, Psychology, Foreign languages, Studying computational algorithms, and Building & Flying remote control aircraft. Some of these things I do very well, and others… Well, let’s just say I have a long way I plan to take them all. I can’t remember being bored (as in having nothing to do), for a good number of years. At any rate, the material point is that am always trying to I love what I do, have fun, and serve the Lord, all at once.

Enjoy your stay at The Cube!
